Function and Usage

  • Power Supply Input voltage: 24V–50VDC, indicated by red LED.
  • Ripple peak voltage must not exceed 50V.
  • Transformer secondary output recommended <30VAC (no-load).
  • Lower voltage reduces torque at high speed but improves smoothness and lowers heating.
  • Pay attention to polarity; never reverse connect!

Output Current Selection

  • Maximum 4.0A/phase (peak).
  • Selectable via DIP switch (2.5A / 3.0A / 3.7A / 4.0A).
  • For bipolar motors: select 120%–140% of rated current.
  • For 6-lead unipolar motors: select 70% of rated current.

Microstep Selection

  • Type A: 4, 8, 16, 32 steps/rev.
  • Type B: 5, 10, 20, 40 steps/rev.
  • Set before power-on (driver only checks microstep mode at startup).

Single/Dual Pulse Selection

  • Set via DIP switch:
  • Single pulse: Direction controlled by logic level of DIR input.
  • Dual pulse: CW pulse = forward, CCW pulse = reverse.

Automatic Half Current

  • When enabled, driver enters half-current mode if no pulse is received for 1s.
  • Current reduces to 50%, saving energy and reducing heating.

Offline Function

  • When OFFLINE signal is active, phase current is cut off → free shaft rotation.


Protection & Optimization

  • Dynamic Optimization: Adjusts drive automatically, requires ~5s initialization.
  • Phase Error Protection: Wrong wiring won’t damage driver, but motor torque drops sharply.

Signal Inputs
