Note: All values starting with 0x represent hexadecimal values.

  1. Temperature (0x00): Read the register to obtain the real-time temperature value, the unit is 0.1℃. Temperature = register value/10-20. Example: Read register data is 501, actual temperature =501/10-20=30.1℃ Note: If the register data is 65535, it indicates that the sensor is faulty.
  2. Humidity (0x01): Read the register to obtain the real-time humidity value, the unit is 0.1%RH. Example: Read register data is 532, actual humidity = 53.2%RH
    1. Note: If the register data is 65535, it indicates that the sensor is faulty.
  3. Device address (0x20): Modify/view the local communication address. When the communication address is not known, 0 (broadcast address) can be used for reading, writing and control. It is not possible to connect multiple devices using the broadcast address.
  4. Baud rate (0x21): Modify/view the communication baud rate.
  5. Special command register (0xFF00): Write different values to execute different commands.
    1. 0x01: Restart the device.
    2. 0xFFFF: Restore factory settings and restart. All configuration parameters will be restored to their default values.

Communication protocol 

  • Standard modbus-RTU protocol, all parameters and instructions are implemented through holding registers, which reduces the difficulty of operation.
  • Supports function codes 0x03 (reading multiple holding registers) and 0x06 (writing a single holding register).
